REFLECTIONS ON CASTE, RELATIONSHIPS ETC....

A Friend of mine asked me few questions which i have tried to reflect upon here....

Caste???? I really dont know what it means because i dont believe in one...however i understand it to be man made long long years ago for the smooth functioning of the economy and society....who knew that one day it will enter turbulent waters....

How can one differentiate???? I really dont know because i dont believe in one....I have never discriminated friends or relatives based on caste....I also believe that on the last day of our life all we need is that 6x3 piece of land for us to reduce to ash...which again later we have no claim to....then no one would ask whether he or she were a brahman, kshatriya, vaishya or shudra?????

No one questions about caste when one recieves blood in case of emergency.....whether it was brahman blood or shudra blood or to take a step further ,whether it was a hindu, christian or muslim who donated the blood......because it is a matter of saving a life.

When it comes to marriage, it is upon the two individuals to adjust.....in case of vast difference in lifestyles or rituals...finally everything is done by human and undone by human.

Mother and child attachment.......it is unexplainable....how can one not love part of oneself..the most sacred of all relationship is that of a mother and child..... i could keep writing on this....so would comment later.

Why are we close to one and not to the other????? As far as my understanding goes about the bonds in my life, i feel they are facilitative in nature.....there woukd be some commonalities between them.... be it interest, thoughts and goals...both the individuals contribute to each other's life and so on..

Here again, i could keep writing on this topic....may be some day.. i could post a blog only on this....i.e. relationships.

Its been long time since i have written...well, right now iam on holiday....where? aamchi Mumbai...everytime i land in Mumbai, Iam amazed looking at the city....sights and sounds of the city...and of course the spirit of the city....it is rightly called the city that never sleeps. The city is on the go.....and has that never give up spirit, which gets imbibed in its people. It accepts people from every strata in its fold...and vice versa, every person who sets his foot here makes it his or her home..

These thoughts come to me when i have to make few decisions...
